1. Who we are

Scanmaxx is an AI face analysis web app that lets users upload a face photo and receive an AI-generated entertainment and self-improvement report.

2. What data we process

When you use Scanmaxx, we may process:

• The image you upload for analysis.
• The AI-generated report connected to that scan.
• Technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information and basic usage logs.
• Payment status and checkout information handled through Stripe.

3. How your photo is used

Your uploaded image is used to generate your Scanmaxx report. The image is sent to third-party AI and infrastructure providers needed to process the scan.

In the current version, reports and uploaded image previews are stored temporarily in your browser session so the report can be shown after payment. Scanmaxx does not intentionally publish your uploaded image.

4. Third-party providers

We use third-party services to run the app:

• Anthropic/Claude for AI image analysis.
• Stripe for payment processing.
• Vercel for hosting and infrastructure.
• MediaPipe in the browser for facial landmark scanning animation.

These providers may process data according to their own privacy policies and data processing terms.

5. Legal basis

We process your uploaded photo and report based on your consent and your request to receive the Scanmaxx service. Payment-related data is processed to complete the purchase and comply with legal obligations.

6. Storage

Scanmaxx is currently designed as a lightweight MVP. Reports are stored temporarily in the user’s browser session. Some technical logs may be stored by our hosting and third-party providers for security, debugging and service operation.

Future versions may include accounts, saved reports and scan credits. If this is added, this Privacy Policy will be updated.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability regarding your personal data.

8. Age and consent

You may only upload photos that you own or have clear permission to use. Do not upload someone else’s face without consent. Scanmaxx is not intended for children.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect the service. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as Scanmaxx develops. The latest version will always be available on this page.
